AMENITIES AND RATES

Cast Away Cottage offers 2 bedrooms, 1 and 1/2 baths, a well-equipped kitchen, comfortable living room, and a mudroom for storing your outdoor gear.  Our outdoor space includes a fully covered deck with seating at the back of the property and a fire ring in the front yard.  We have ample space to park your boat or ATV trailer.  We strive to make our vacation home feel like home for you.

Bedroom 1 - 
Bedroom 1 has a Queen Bed and an en suite 1/2 bath.  Sheets, a blanket and  4 pillows are provided.  A dresser and nightstand provide space for clothing and personal items.  There is also a closet with hangers, a shelf, and additional hooks for clothing, coats, or luggage.  The roll away cot can be found in bedroom 1's closet, as well.

Bedroom 2 -
Bedroom 2 has a Double Bed. Sheets, a blanket and 4 pillows are provided. A dresser and nightstand provide space for clothing and personal items.  There is a closet with hangers for clothing, coats, or luggage. A full-length mirror is on the inside of the closet door.  There is also a seating area with a chair and small side table with lamp.  

Living Room -
The living room offers a pull out sofa, 2 recliners and a swivel arm chair.  Watch Netflix on the 32 in. Smart TV, use your own streaming account, or bring a movie for the DVD player.  Wi-fi is provided.  A record player with radio and USB connector is also available. There is a coat closet with hangers in the living room.  A child's booster seat for the kitchen chair and a vacuum can be found in this closet as well.

 

Kitchen - 
The well-equipped kitchen has an electric stove/oven, a full-size refrigerator with freezer, microwave, 12 cup coffee pot, toaster, Mr. Coffee Ice Tea Maker and a hand mixer.  Plates of different sizes, bowls, glassware, coffee cups, serving bowls and platters, flatware, steak knives, pots, pans, skillets, baking dishes, cookie sheets, a colander, cutting board, wine glasses, wine corkscrew, childrens' dishware, and a variety of kitchen utensils are available.  We provided dish soap, paper towels, trash bags, napkins, pot holders, salt and pepper, coffee filters, and cooking spray.  The table provides seating for 4, with 2 folding chairs in the kitchen closet.  Basic cleaning supplies can also be found in the kitchen, including a Wet Swiffer for quick clean-ups.  Don't worry though - as fully stocked as this kitchen is - we did leave empty cupboard space for food items you bring along.

Mudroom -
The mudroom offers a space for storing hunting and fishing gear.  Coat hooks, shoe racks, clothing drying rack, and fishing pole racks are available.  A sink and considerable counter space provide a place to clean and prepare your catch.  There is also a mini-fridge for storing fishing bait and a coffee pot.  Store your guns and ammo in the metal gun locker. You'll also find additional seating with a table, 2 chairs and a bench. 

 

Full Bathroom and 1/2 Bath - 
The 1/2 bath is located in Bedroom 1.
A full bath is in the hallway next to Bedroom 2.  A wall vanity and under sink cupboard provide lots of space for toiletries in both bathrooms.  The full bath has a step-in shower with a grab bar for extra security.  Numerous towel hooks are provided in the full bath. Toilet paper and hand soap are provided. A hairdryer can be found under the sink in each bathroom.

This and That -

Sheets, pillowcases and a blanket are provided for all beds except the pull-out couch.  

There are nightlights throughout the cottage.  
Cards, some board games, a notebook and pens can be found in the cabinet in the kitchen.
There is cell service at Cast Away.
We have central air conditioning.
There is a fire ring, a table and 4 chairs, a two-person swing, a grill and a picnic table in the front yard.
There are automatic lights, flood lights and solar lights at the rear steps for nighttime security.

No pets are allowed.
